- 1 ripe avocado, pitted and peeled
- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks
- 1/2 cup coconut milk (unsweetened)
- 1/2 cup coconut water
- 1/2 cup baby spinach
- 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
- 1 tablespoon chia seeds
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon lime juice
- A handful of ice cubes
- First, you need to halve the ripe avocado and take out the pit and then transfer the avocado meat to a blender. Spoon in the fresh pineapple chunks. 
- Pour in the coconut milk and the coconut water if you are using any pour in the baby spinach if you are using any. 
- For the sweet element stir in honey or maple syrup. Finally, add the vanilla extract and lime juice to add on the tropical flavor of the cake. 
- Pour in the chia seeds into the blender and toss it all around. 
- Place the mash into an ice cream maker and blend in a few handfuls of ice cubes mixing at high speed. If, however, the smoothie gets too thick, more coconut water can be put as to achieve the right texture. 
- Spoon the Avocolada smoothie into chilled glasses. To enhance the looks of the dish, you can put a slice of pineapple or sprinkle chia seeds on top.
