Ingredients Required

  • Whole almonds (around 1/2 cup total)
  • Water (one cup)
  • Cinnamon stick, 1 stick
  • Tea leaves (about 2 tablespoons)

 Instructions to Cook

  • Placing soaked almonds in a mixing dish with enough water to cover them will allow them to soak for at least 4 hours and up to overnight.
  • Once the almonds have been soaked, throw them in a blender with 12 glasses of water and mix until smooth.
  • Set aside the almond milk after straining it through a strainer to remove any remaining particles. Blend on high for 2 minutes, or until it is completely smooth.
  • Heat the water at medium heat in a saucepan.
  • After bringing the water to a gentle simmer, add the cinnamon stick and black tea leaves.
